I have confirmed the operation of this pull request by applying the patch and then ./reset.sh
[ I was using the flag module as a target. ]
afterwards
.dropwhale/bash.sh ... I could then see the latest version of 8.5.x
then by way of looking for problems
dropwhale/run-js-tests.sh
all test passed
